Woolworths Group unveiled the much anticipated Stage One of the $60-million redevelopment of Glenrose Village Shopping Centre located in Belrose in Sydney’s north. With community expectations of revitalisation for more than 13 years, the first stage opened with a 4,200m2 Woolworths supermarket, BWS and 27 specialty stores including Glen St Food Quarter, a contemporary, alfresco dining precinct.

Director of Property, Ralph Kemmler launched the centre along with Michael Regan representing the Northern Beaches Council and Andrew Hall, General Manager at Woolworths (NSW, ACT). They officially opened Glenrose Village Shopping Centre with a ribbon cutting alongside the local school captains, Woolworths Glenrose’s longest-serving staff member and owners of the Belrose Chemist.

Stage Two of the redevelopment of Glenrose Village Shopping Centre is scheduled to open in early 2017. SCN
